Tell us about yourself
I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, where I felt suffocated by the lack of opportunities and the narrow-minded mentality of the people around me. From a young age, I dreamt of escaping to the city, where I imagined I would be able to explore my interests and find like-minded individuals. As soon as I turned 22, I packed my bags and left my hometown behind, determined to make a new life in Los Santos.

What skills do you have that you believe DCC would benefit from?
I am able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing them with information and assistance as needed. I am able to input and organize data accurately and efficiently, which could be useful for tasks such as scheduling and record keeping. I have the ability to analyze situations and come up with logical solutions to problems, which could be useful in a variety of roles within DCC. I have strong writing skills and can produce clear, concise, and well-written documents, such as reports, emails, and marketing materials.

Why would you like to join the DCC team?
I am excited to apply for a position at the downtown cab company because I believe that my skills and experiences make me a strong fit for the role. I have a strong background in customer service, and I am committed to providing excellent service to every customer I interact with. In addition to my customer service skills, I am also highly organized and detail-oriented, which I believe would be valuable assets in a fast-paced and dynamic environment like a downtown cab company.

I am also very interested in the transportation industry and believe that working for a downtown cab company would be a great opportunity to learn more about this field and contribute to the community by providing a vital service. I am eager to join a team that is dedicated to serving the needs of its customers and am excited at the prospect of being able to grow and develop within the company over time.

Have you applied previously and been rejected? If so what have you done differently this time?
No, this is my first time applying.

Define Powergaming and give an example:
Powergaming is a style of play in which a player prioritizes maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of their character's actions, often at the expense of roleplaying or storytelling. An example of powergaming might be a player who only focuses on increasing their character's combat abilities and ignores opportunities to roleplay or interact with other characters in the game. This can lead to an unbalanced and less enjoyable experience for other players.

What is the difference between /me and /do? and give an example:
/me is used to describe an action that the character is performing. For example, "/me takes a drink from a bottle of water" would indicate that the character is taking a drink.

/do is used to describe an action that is being done to the character. For example, "/do takes a punch to the face" would indicate that the character is being punched in the face.

Define Metagaming and give an example:
Metagaming is the use of out-of-character (OOC) knowledge or resources to affect one's in-character (IC) decisions. In other words, it's using information that your character wouldn't realistically know to make decisions in the game. An example could be, Bob is being chased by a group of enemies. Another player's character, Alice, is aware that the enemies are just NPCs controlled by the game master and are not a real threat. Alice, using this OOC knowledge, tells Bob to stop running and confront the enemies, knowing that they are not a real danger.

Which rule does the following describe: the act of emphasising roleplay over acquiring a level of skill that is unrealistic.
[ ] Non-Roleplay
[X] Powergaming
[ ] Alternative Roleplay

Define Non-Roleplay and give an example:
Non-roleplay is any action or communication that is not in line with a player's character or the game's fictional setting. It refers to actions or statements that are made by a player rather than their character.

In a role-playing game, one player's character, Bob, is supposed to be a brave knight. However, the player controlling Bob starts talking about their real-life problems in the middle of a role-playing session, breaking immersion and disrupting the game. This is an example of non-roleplay because the player is communicating as themselves rather than staying in character as Bob the knight.

You are in a taxi by yourself and it stalls. A man runs up to the taxi and points a gun at you close range. He begins shouting demands for you to exit the vehicle and to put your hands in the air. You have a pistol on your person. What should you do?
They already have their gun out and mine is just on my hip plus my vehicle is stalling. For my own safety I should listen to his commands.
