Have you been convicted of a crime? If so, what for?
I have not been convicted of a crime.
Do you have any prior employment? If so, please state them here with the reason(s) as to why you left them:
Before moving to Los Santos from Kentucky, I supervised a large call center. I left the job to move to Los Santos in search of new opportunities.
Please write a personal biography: (Minimum of 200 words)
My name is Alistair Burton. I grew up in Louisville Kentucky with my mother and father. I did very well in school, and was known as the person who could sleep through class and still get the answers right, yet I fell in with a bad crowd in high school. While I stayed away, many of them went on to spend their life doing drugs and committing crimes. As an adult, while they were doing this, I found a job working for a large, global call center. This work would develop my social skills greatly, and introduce me to other productive citizens who I wished I could consider myself one of. I never quite felt like I fit in. I would work there for 2 years before being promoted to supervisor. Throughout the years, many of my friends would die or go to prison. When my best friend passed away, I became bitter with my life in Kentucky, and moved to Los Santos with the small amount of money I had and the clothes on my back. I moved here in hopes of leaving my old life and those who knew me as an associate of criminals behind in favor of starting a new life that I can be proud of, making an honest living and becoming a part of the community.
What skills do you have that you believe DCC would benefit from? (Minimum of 75 words)
Firstly, I have very good people skills from working in the call center for so long. I am able to deescalate angry customers efficiently, and without breaking policy. Additionally, I bring supervisor experience to the table, which is helpful even in a non-managerial role. However, this will allow me to possibly step into these roles in the future with little training. Lastly, and most importantly, I am very coachable. This means if I make a mistake and am told, I will fix it immediately and not need to be told again.
Why would you like to join the DCC team? (Minimum of 75 words)
I have always enjoyed helping others, customer service, and making someone's day just a little bit better. I feel that DCC is an avenue for all of these things. After all, we are likely the first people that someone new to the city will meet, so it is up to us to ensure that they have the best experience possible. I feel that my skills and prior work experience make me a great candidate for the position.

Define Powergaming and give an example:
Powergaming is the act of forcing your own RP onto someone else without giving them a chance to succeed. Example: RP'ing that you have superhuman strength so that you can break handcuffs with '/me would break the handcuffs.'
What is the difference between /me and /do? and give an example:
/me is using to state an action. For example: /me bends down to tie his shows. /do is used to further describe the action. Example: /do The shoes would be tied neatly. /Do is also used to answer RP requests. For example: PD says '/me would attempt to frisk the suspect. /do would this be successful?' and I would respond '/do It would be successful.'
Define Metagaming and give an example:
Metagaming is the act of using outside info to effect RP. Example: Being in a discord call with your gang members while playing RP.
Which rule does the following describe: the act of emphasising roleplay over acquiring a level of skill that is unrealistic.
[ ] Non-Roleplay
[X] Powergaming
[ ] Alternative Roleplay
Define Non-Roleplay and give an example:
Non-Roleplay is essentially the act of performing unrealistic actions. An example would be calling the police during an active shootout that you are involved in.
You are in a taxi by yourself and it stalls. A man runs up to the taxi and points a gun at you close range. He begins shouting demands for you to exit the vehicle and to put your hands in the air. You have a pistol on your person. What should you do?
I would get out and obey the man's commands.
